LA Sanitation S.A.F.E. Collection Center Reopens at UCLA

LA Sanitation S.A.F.E. Collection Center Reopens at UCLA on Friday, May 1

The Los Angeles Sanitation (LASAN) S.A.F.E. (Solvents, Automotive, Flammables, and Electronics) Collection Center will reopen on the UCLA campus on Friday, May 1, providing a convenient option for residents to safely dispose of household hazardous waste (HHW) and household electronic waste (E‑waste).

LASAN offers year‑round waste disposal programs for City of Los Angeles and L.A. County residents through permanent S.A.F.E. Centers and mobile collection events held throughout the city. These programs help ensure that hazardous materials and electronics are handled responsibly and kept out of landfills.
The UCLA‑based S.A.F.E. Collection Center makes safe disposal easy and accessible for the local community.
