- All food vendors are required to apply for and obtain a temporary food permit when distributing food at a public event. This permit is required whether you sell food or give it away for free at the event.
- Food permits is not required for a private event. Private events are limited to members of a group, department, organization, club, and invited guests only. Examples include: department meetings, lunches, receptions, staff gatherings, coffee breaks, and class meetings.
