Bruins Safer Together! Join us for Campus Safety Week, May 4-8, 2026

Bruins Safer Together!

UCLA Environment, Health & Safety (EH&S) works to keep our campus safe, healthy and resilient. Campus Safety Week brings that work into view, offering hands‑on tools, demos and resources you won’t encounter in your daily routine. No matter your role on campus, safety shapes every part of the UCLA experience — and Campus Safety Week helps every Bruin stay informed, prepared and protected.

**Follow EH&S on Instagram for bite‑sized safety tips throughout Campus Safety Week and other safety information throughout the year.

Two Events. One Safer Campus.

The Bruin Safety Showcase

9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Bruin Plaza, McClure Stage area

Explore booths, spin the wheel for free safety merchandise and hear from campus experts about topics that impact Bruins across campus.

Bruins at Work: Safety Skills Session

8 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
Facilities Management breezeway and parking lot, located between Facilities Management and Parking Structure 8

These hands‑on safety training sessions are tailored for Housing & Hospitality and Facilities Management teams and are open to all staff, faculty and researchers.

Those interested in attending are asked to inform their managers or supervisors in advance to request paid leave time and to ensure appropriate coverage during their absence from the workplace.

Attendees will receive a raffle ticket at every booth they visit and/or training session they attend — plus a bonus ticket for following EH&S on Instagram. Prizes include meal vouchers to use in our dining halls (No. 1 in the nation!) or an ASUCLA dining location, gift cards, Bird scooter credits, UCLA swag and more. Winners will be announced on Instagram the following week. To claim a prize, please bring your winning ticket and BruinCard to the UCLA Environment, Health & Safety office in the Strathmore Building, located at 501 Westwood Plaza, 4th floor, during standard business hours.

We extend our sincere thanks to the campus partners and external vendors whose ongoing participation and expertise are contributing to the success of Campus Safety Week activities.
