- Know the exit routes from your office, floor and building

- Keep a flashlight in your desk, check batteries quarterly
- Always know the locations of the nearest fire exit and fire alarm pull station
- Post emergency numbers next to your phone
- Report any unsafe conditions to the EH&S Hotline 310-825-9797
- Keep walkways and exits clear
- Keep fire doors closed when not in use -- never prop them open
- All storage must be in compliance with California Fire Code and applicable regulations
- Use microwaves and toaster ovens in authorized locations only
- Eliminate the use of unauthorized personal appliances
